Great
care was taken when finding a suitable process to produce
the limited edition prints.
The
prints are produced directly on to the same canvas that
originals are painted on. The canvases are 38mm deep
and are ready to hang straight on the wall without the
need of a frame.
The
inks are fully waterproof and UV resistant, meaning they
can be wiped clean and will not fade over time with exposure
to the sunlight. The inks that are used are suitable
for use outdoors so no problems with moisture or dirt
will arise.
The
machine used is one of only a very few in the UK and
uses a different process to most ink jet (Giclee) prints
that are offered. The whole canvas is put into the machine
and is printed straight onto the canvas - this means
that the manual labour involved in the process is much
less (the canvas does not have to be re-stretched by
hand) meaning the prices remain much cheaper and the
prints look much more authentic to the originals.
